Baked Salmon Skewers with Almond and Sesame Crust

Serves 4
Ingredients
  • 400-500 gms Boneless salmon fillet
  • 3 tbsp Best Foods Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup panko crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sliced roughly chopped almonds
  • 1 tsp each of black and white sesame seeds
  • Sea salt & pepper
Method

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cut the salmon fillets into even strips and thread onto metal skewers or pre-soaked bamboo skewers.  

Place the salmon skewers onto a lined shallow roasting tray and coat with the Best Foods Mayonnaise. 

Combine panko crumbs with the almonds and black & white sesame seeds and season the crumb mix well with sea salt & pepper. 

Sprinkle generously over the salmon and bake at 180 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until the salmon just starts to flake and the crumbs are golden.

Serve with tangy wasabi mayonnaise (1/2 Best Foods Mayonnaise + 1 teaspoon wasabi paste)
