  • 6 hot dogs
  • 6 hot dog buns
  • 6 rashers of streaky bacon
  • 2 tomato
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 1/2 cup lettuce
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 3 Tbsp Best Foods Mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp Tomato Relish
  • 3 Tbsp mild American mustard

  1. In a frying pan over medium heat, cook the bacon rashers until crispy. Set aside on a paper towel to drain.

  2. Cook the hot dogs in the sam pan the bacon was cooked in on medium to high heat until cooked through.

  3. Lightly toast the hot dog buns in the oven or on a pan until just golden.

  4. Finely dice the tomato and red onion and slice the spring onions. Add to a bowl and mix to make the tomato salsa. Finely slice set aside the lettuce.

  5. Grate the cheese.

  6. Spread the mayonnaise and tomato relish inside each bun.

  7. Place a hot dog and a rasher of bacon in each bun.

  8. Top with the cheese, then grill briefly in the oven to melt the cheese.

  9. Top with tomato salsa and mustard. Serve hot and enjoy!
