
Ingredients
- 500 gram squid tubes cut into thin rings
- 1/2 cup gluten-free plain flour
- 1/2 cup cornflour
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 egg white whisked
- oil for frying
- lemon wedges for serving
Spicy Dipping Sauce
- 1/2 cup Best Foods mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp siracha
- 1 tbsp apple cider
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- salted
Recipe Directions

Mix flour, corn flour, salt and pepper in a large bowl.

Heat oil in a deep pan until it begins to simmer (about 2cm deep oil).

In batches, toss squid in egg white, then dip into flour mix, shaking off any excess.

Carefully cook in the oil for 2 minutes until golden. Remove and drain on a baking rack lined with paper towels.

To serve: mix dipping sauce ingredients. Serve squid with lemon wedges and spicy dipping sauce.
