The Best Foods Foodie Roadie With Ganesh Raj

Bringing out the Best from north to south 

Aotearoa is home to some of the freshest, highest quality food produce around – and the Best Foods Foodie Roadie with Ganesh Raj is here to show you how to cook with the best of our local produce.   

We teamed up with New Zealand restaurateur, cook, and star of TV show ‘Eat Well for Less’ Ganesh Raj to go on a nationwide road trip from north to south, armed with Best Foods and a mission to sample and support Aotearoa’s local producers. Ganesh took inspiration from regional New Zealand specialties like Southland’s cheese rolls and fresh blue cod, and recreated them with a drool-worthy Best Foods twist.

Barry's Bay Cheese

Ganesh headed to Barry's Bay in picturesque Akaroa to taste-test Aotearoa’s finest cheeses and carefully curate a three-cheese extravaganza, all neatly packed into the quintessential local favourite, the Southland cheese roll dipped in decadent kimchi mayo. Havoc Farm Sausages

Ganesh made a stop at award-winning South Canterbury producer, Havoc Farm, home of sustainable free-farmed pork. Out of the Dark Mushrooms

There’s something special about New Zealand grown mushrooms.
