BEST FOODS LEFTOVER LUNCH TRUCK IS ON TOUR

We’ve launched The Leftover Lunch Truck to show you how to make the most of your leftover meals and ingredients with simple tips, tricks and easy dishes.

The average Kiwi family throws away three shopping trolleys worth of food each year (that’s around $644!) so we’re challenging you to change the way you view food waste with our food truck tour and range of droolworthy ‘leftovers’ recipes!

The Leftover Lunch Truck will be visiting Auckland and Hamilton across three days to show you that ‘leftovers and forgotten’ food can easily be transformed into something delicious. The truck will use New Zealand’s 10 most discarded ingredients such as potatoes, bread, veggies and chicken which will be whipped up into four delicious sample meals for you to trial (for free!). Come visit the truck, try a dish and chat to the team to find out about how you can help reduce food waste.
